Samsung officially announced the launch of Galaxy J7 plus in Thailand for THB 12,000 (approximately INR 25,000). At the moment, there is no official word about its launch in India.
The Galaxy J7 plus sports a 5.5-inch full HD super AMOLED display with 1080 X 1920 pixel resolution. It is powered by octa-core 2.4GHz Mediatek Helio P20 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. The device has 32GB in-built storage and supports expandable storage of up to 256GB through a microSD card.
The Samsung Galaxy J7 plus embraces a full metal aluminum body and 2.5D glass on the front. It has a fingerprint scanner embedded in the home key button flanked by two capacitive buttons.
Galaxy J7 plus features a 13MP+5MP dual camera setup with single flash. The 13MP lens sports a wide f/1.7 aperture, while the 5MP sensor comes with an f/1.9 aperture for capturing depth data for producing bokeh effect. The front camera features a 16MP sensor with f/1.9 aperture for clicking selfies.
The J7 plus is powered by a 3000mAh Li-ion battery. It comes preinstalled with Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS. It has two slots for sim cards and a microSD card slot. The smartphone sports features like 4G LTE with VoLTE support, Bluetooth v4.2, and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4+5GHz).
Other interesting highlights of the phone are Samsung’s digital voice assistant – Bixby, always-on display mode, face detection, and support for multiple profiles in messaging apps like WhatsApp.
Samsung J7 plus is available in black, gold, and rose gold colors. The phone is expected to go on sale from 18 September, 2017.
